Designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of the importance of good personal and workplace hygiene and to take responsibility for supervising food safety in a catering environment.

Who is this course suitable for?

This qualification is ideal for people working in positions such as, but not limited to:

  • Head Chef / Head Cook

  • Catering / Restaurant Manager

  • Company Director

  • Business Owner

  • General Manager / Supervisor

  • Nursery Manager

Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering (RQF)

What are the Entry Requirements?

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

The qualification is available to learners pre 16+ years of age at certification

How long does it take?

Total Qualification Time for this qualification is 30 hours

GLH 25 hrs

How Will I Be Assessed?

The qualification is assessed by an externally set and marked multiple choice question paper

All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass - there is no grading.
