Designed for learners who wish to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of the importance of good personal and workplace hygiene and how to keep food safe from contamination. This qualification allows learners to take responsibility for food safety in a catering environment.

What are the Entry Requirements?
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is available to learners pre 16+ years of age at certification
How long does it take?
Total qualification time 10 hours.
GLH 9 hours
How Will I Be Assessed?
The qualification is assessed by an externally set and marked multiple choice question paper
All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass - there is no grading.

What Are My Progression Routes?
